Silver Lake offers custom built homes with 1+ acre lots. Don't let the address fool you though! While Silver Lake homes are located in Clearcreek Township and have the 45068 zip code most commonly associated with Waynesville, Silver Lake homes are part of the Springboro Community School district! Silver Lake is continuing to busily add new construction homes, so you will NOT see all your options in the search below since many lots are still for sale and you can have the design of your choice built. Silver Lake's physical location in Clearcreek Township means you avoid Springboro city taxes but still have the benefit of the Springboro school system. Silver Lake offers easy access, located on the south side of SR73 just east of the SR48 intersection. SR73 provides you east/west commuting to I71 or I75, or use SR48 for north/south travel. While Silver Lake is a low amenity community (a manmade lake, but no pools, tennis courts, etc), you won't be short of recreational opportunities. Just to the east is Caesar Creek State Park, offering 7900 acres of lake & woods, so boating, swimming, mountain biking, horseback riding and more are just a short drive away. If you prefer indoor recreation, head to one of the area YMCAs and you'll be in good shape!
Silver Lake is essentially a cul de sac community, although there is a side connector road into Foxdale Farms. With just slightly more than 60 homes total when the community is fully built out, you're not going to feel crowded here! However, we will say if you're looking for heavily wooded lots, Silver Lake isn't the ideal place. While many of the lots have trees to the back side of the lots, the fronts are generally wide open.
Silver Lake is covered by TWO MLS, Cincinnati and Dayton. Our searches only pull from Cincinnati, so if you're interested in the full picture, please contact us and we'll send you the Dayton-only listings also. Expect most homes to be priced above mid-$300,000.
